Anthony is a dedicated and hardworking member of the DCRSD (Dudley Charlton Regional School District) School Committee, presently the incumbent in the Charlton 1 year seat. He is seeking re-election to the committee for the 3 year seat. Currently, Anthony is the Chair of the DCRSD Budget and Finance subcommittee and DCRSD Capital Outlay and Safety subcommittee.
Anthony moved to Charlton 8 years ago with his young family, bringing with him many years of experience in municipal government. With a passion for education and life-long learning, Anthony did not hesitate to join the School Councils of Charlton Elementary, Heritage and Charlton Middle School. In that role he immediately improved and strengthened all of the councils, fostered partnerships with the community to create a shared vision and increased recruitment dramatically.
He has shown the same zeal in his work on the School Committee, regularly collaborating with all stakeholders (parents, administrators, teachers, facilities, residents, town officials etc.) to meet the needs of students, seek opportunities to save money and balance the budget, and implement continuous school improvement.
Anthony believes all students deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Having been a life-long library "kid" herself, Lisa Aube is a lover of books and a strong advocate for children learning to read. She has been a member of the Friends of the Charlton Library for a year and a half and has attended many Library Trustee meetings during that same period. She is also presently a member of the town Cultural Council.
Besides Lisa’s love for reading, she also enjoys making puzzles, and spending time with her children and her husband of 20 years, Anthony. She earned her bachelor's degree in 2011, worked 20+ years in retail management, including several at a Barnes and Noble, and currently has worked in Sales and Marketing the past 4 years.
Our wonderful library was an important factor in her family's decision to move to Charlton 8 years ago and we could not have a more qualified guardian of our town jewel, the Charlton Public Library.

Bruce Menin is a lifelong proponent of public service. He has over 30 years of experience in municipal government at a variety of levels in both the city of Newburyport and here in Charlton. He has served 22 years in elective office as a member of the Newburyport School Committee, garnering several awards and citations, while also chairing and serving on a wide variety of other committees in that city. Over the years, his work included the creation of school budgets and statutory oversight responsibilities for more than $500,000,000. He was on the negotiating team for five contract negotiations with the Newburyport Teacher’s Union and served on or chaired three Superintendent Hiring Committees. As a School Committee member he provided oversight for 3 building rehab projects; a high school, a middle school and an elementary school and as an elected member of the Newburyport Charter Review Commission Bruce helped to re-write the City Charter.
Since arriving in Charlton, Bruce has continued to dedicate his time as a public servant, volunteering at the Charlton Senior Center, facilitating a Writer’s Group, and at Overlook facilitating a Play-writers Group. He serves on the Charlton Cultural Council and on the Community/Senior Center Feasibility Study Committee. In a personal capacity as a Charlton resident Bruce served on the South Charlton Reservoir Association By-laws Committee.
Bruce devotes his time to making positive change that improves people's lives. In addition to his municipal experience he has had a long career in human services helping individuals with both mental health and physical disabilities, having held a variety of non-profit management roles. He was also a founding Director of the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
A vote for Bruce is a vote for dedication and experience.
Kristin is a Charlton parent, data professional and community volunteer running to serve on the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District School Committee. She is currently an active member of the School Council at Charlton Middle School and has also served at Bryn Mawr School in Auburn. Her two children attend DCRSD schools. She coaches Charlton Youth Soccer and has volunteered in prior years with the CMS Show Choir program.
Kristin's priorities are student success, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. With a 30% increase in students with disabilities across the district over the last five years, she believes the committee should stay focused on ensuring services and supports that are reaching students — using data to continuously evaluate what's working and to make informed decisions about where resources are needed most. She believes taxpayers deserve honest, straightforward answers about where school funding goes and why budgets are tight, and will work to explain the real drivers of financial pressure — from state aid formulas and delayed reimbursements to major capital investments like MSBA funding — so residents can see the district's commitments in action.
